Although killing is never a good thing, this truly is a momentous occasion. In reality, this may not change anything, but at least we can say that justice has been done, even if it was bloody.
Harrison: Although killing might be justified sometimes, I think it's always unfortunate when a human life has to be taken, no matter how repugnant the victim.
Karen: Everything I've heard says that we have his body and we're going to use it to prove to the Arab world that he is, in fact, dead.
Edit: I see that they buried the body at sea. Last I heard is that there was footage of the raid and of his body.
I think burying him had something to do with Islamic law, burying the body 1 day after death or something. That could just be coming out of my ass though.
It's also a great day to tell Pakistan to go f*** themselves and announce we're not giving them one more dime, right after we perform a similar operation to disable their nukes.
This is definitely an Obama lock for 2012. Now that Bin Laden is dead, Obama is certain to immediately stop the wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen, he will surely dismantle the DHS, scale back the TSA, and half the DoD and CIA budgets, saving us trillions in the process. All that money saved will undoubtedly be reinvested in rebuilding this country’s crumbling infrastructure, fully fund our public schools, hire more policemen, and expand Medicaid and Medicare to cover the 50+ million Americans without insurance. This will unquestionably lead to a miraculous economic recovery and a new century of unparalleled American prosperity. Hehehe.

Killing is a good thing... sometimes. Though I would have liked to have seen him taken alive.
Call me paranoid, but I tend to think this was all planned to boost Obama's popularity during his campaign.
I'd be more inclined to believe that Osama was really killed if they'd had a body. I was thinking he was already dead and has been for awhile.
